Billionaire Elon Musk has unveiled a new twitter logo for his social network, which will now be known as X. The announcement was made by the company’s CEO, Linda Yaccarino, on the platform itself. She posted an image of the new logo displayed on the company’s building in San Francisco, California.
Asked about the new nomenclature of tweets, Musk revealed that from now on they will be known as “x’s”.
This move comes after the world’s richest man spent a weekend discussing a possible new twitter logo of the platform he acquired in October last year for 44 billion dollars (or 39.7 billion euros).
Recalling that, after six months of negotiations, Musk acquired Twitter on October 27, 2023. Since then, the platform has undergone a series of changes, faced criticism, made a significant reduction in the number of employees and modified some policies for using the platform – some decisions have been reversed and others redone.
