The artificial intelligence image creation platform, MidJourney, has launched a website that anyone can access via browser, complete with a free trial!
MidJourney has just opened its doors to everyone, allowing direct access through the browser without the need for Discord registration. And as if that weren’t enough, the company is offering temporary free trials to create images with artificial intelligence (AI). The news was revealed on Wednesday (21) through the official service profile on X (formerly Twitter). Before this update, it was necessary to have an active profile on the gamer social network and subscribe to one of the plans to use the tool. But now, you can use the platform like a true digital artist, without all the hassle.
To access MidJourney, simply visit the website (midjourney.com) in your browser, without needing that obligatory connection to Discord. Although the site already existed, its use was restricted to more experienced users of the streaming platform. The good news is that, in addition to being able to use a Google account for login, anyone who already had a Discord account can continue using their credentials as usual.
And there’s more! Users who already had accounts on MidJourney can merge access between Google and Discord, allowing them to log in with either account. This means you can recover your creation history and easily access the service with both credentials.
In an upbeat announcement (but without going overboard), the company also revealed that new users will receive 25 credits to test the tool for free. After that, anyone who wants to keep the party going will have to subscribe to one of the paid plans. The basic package costs $8 (approximately R$ 44) per month, while the more expensive plan runs at $96 (or R$ 532, if you’re counting every penny).
“The Web experience of MidJourney is now open to everyone. We are also temporarily activating free trials so you can check it out. Have fun!” the company stated, as if inviting us to an epic birthday bash.
The process for creating images remains the same, using text commands, including prompts in Portuguese. At the end of the creation, you can quickly download the images in PNG format. So, let’s get to the good stuff: how to use MidJourney on the web to bring your ideas to life!
